How We Learn: Supporting Families at Every Stage
All Day Learning Centers is a pioneer in Hillsborough, New Jersey. The center has been a trailblazer for over five decades in early childhood development and care. We offer various full and part-time care options for children from infants six weeks of age to age 13. What sets us apart from other programs is we have curated our curriculum to meet and exceed benchmarks for every stage of development and nurture each child’s social, emotional, and academic growth.
Our unique program incorporates three curriculums—Creative, Healthy Choices, and Kindness—combining the best aspects of these leading programs to offer each student a well-rounded, comprehensive education. Our qualified teaching staff created our program, considering the type of support each new development stage needs.
Parents are a child’s first teachers. Our dedicated teachers and staff support the lessons that start at home. Through age-appropriate activities, students gain a greater understanding of virtues, including empathy, gratitude, and perspective. We enforce these lessons as children make friends through cooperative group play and encourage kindness and respect toward others.
At the youngest ages, our infants are discovering the world around them. They explore their world through their senses and learn to form attachments with those around them. We designed our infant class to honor those needs by filling each student’s day with exciting sensory experiences and nurturing secure relationships.
Next, as infants progress into toddlerhood, they learn more about the world through playing, speaking, and moving. These skills expand rapidly during this period. Their vocabulary grows exponentially as they learn to communicate with their parents, teachers, and peers. This period is also full of learning through movement. Children learn to crawl, walk, run, and jump during this time as they refine their gross motor skills.
Our preschoolers—in the 3 to 5 age range—are laying the foundation for kindergarten. Our curriculum teaches children to tend to their emotions, self-regulate, and connect with their peers. The students learn empathy, gratitude, perspective, honesty, self-compassion, and self-acceptance and how these virtues matter in the classroom. While our teachers incorporate age-appropriate academic lessons, children still learn many things through imaginative play. By supporting their imagination, students can explore the world, inquire about new things, and discover all their environment offers.
Kindergarteners are honing their reading, writing, and mathematics skills. Our kindergarten program prepares them for the next stage in their academic career—elementary school. Our kindergarten programs go beyond the ABCs and 123s. We infuse STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, math) into their learning. Our arts program encourages students to tap into their imagination, unlocking their creativity and analytical mind.
For our older students in our afterschool program, we safely transport them, provide them homework assistance, and supervise an afterschool program supporting their play and activities with other children their age.
Our school offers a safe, secure facility and caring teachers to watch over and instruct your child when your family needs us. Our classrooms include infants, toddlers, preschoolers, full time-kindergarten, kindergarten enrichment, and before and after care. We also have multiple summer camp programs with fun activities tailored to each age group.
