How We Learn: Our Curriculum

Our full-bodied curriculum nurtures each child's social, emotional, and academic growth at every age. For over 50 years, All Day Learning Centers has been a childcare pioneer in the Hillsborough community. Over our decades of service to local families, we have learned what students need to learn from a curriculum. It should be comprehensive and cover learning fundamentals, but also make the social-emotional and physical health connection.

The qualified teachers and staff have combined the best aspects of three popular preschool curriculums: the Creative Curriculum, the Healthy Choices Curriculum, and the Kindness Curriculum. We have curated the content to form the highest quality program for our students.

The Creative Curriculum is the foundation for our academic program and invites students to explore the world around them, inquire about new things, and discover all their environment has to offer them. Imaginative play leads to vital connections in each student's development. This curriculum focuses on growing our students' social/emotional, physical, cognitive, and language skills through play.

We incorporate aspects of the Healthy Choices program to teach students how to best care for their bodies. Teachers lead students through lessons on nutrition and physical fitness, introducing the discovery of hobbies and fostering self-expression through art projects and field trips.

We nurture positive character traits to help our students grow into well-rounded individuals. The Kindness Curriculum ensures our children learn to tend to their emotions, self-regulate, and connect with their peers. The students learn the virtues of empathy, gratitude, perspective, honesty, self-compassion, self-acceptance, and more.
