Why We’re Proud to Partner with Grow NJ Kids

What is Grow NJ Kids?

Grow NJ Kids is part of a national, state-sponsored initiative to raise the quality of child care and early learning throughout New Jersey. Our school joins schools in over 40 states nationwide, implementing similar programs.

We are proud to be a part of the Grow NJ Kids program, a national, state-sponsored initiative that gives us child care and early learning programs resources. We continuously assess and improve our programs. And we have a program in place that ensures ongoing improvement.

The quality of our programs are evaluated and rated, so when we say we offer the highest quality of care and education; it’s backed up by Infant-Toddler Environment Rating Scale (ITERS) and Early Childhood Environment Rating Scale (ECERS).

We have a dedicated quality rating specialist to assess all aspects of our program and improve the quality of care we provide for our students and their families. As part of the program, many elements are rated—space and furnishings, personal care routines, language and literacy, learning activities, interactions, and program structure.

How This Program Impacts Our Children

We are implementing new classroom arrangements, materials, and our Creative Curriculum will span our campus, from our infant rooms, to before and after care, and even on our playgrounds and outdoor spaces.

Soon, we will ask you, our parents, for feedback and recommendations through surveys and family focus groups. Also, look forward to seeing more resources and education sessions, so we can assist families to navigate the challenges of modern parenting.

Together with our families, we will create a solid foundation to support our students' academic, social-emotional, and physical development. The combined support of family and educators is crucial to student success in Literacy, Mathematics, Science, Technology, Social Studies, and the Arts is rooted in the combined support of family and educators.
