The All Day Learning Centers campus was filled with the sound of music and laughter and for our 50th-anniversary celebration. Friends and neighbors of all ages enjoyed delicious food, games, and prizes. Children had their faces painted and balloon animals between conquering an inflatable obstacle course and jumping in the bounce house. It was heartwarming seeing so many smiling faces celebrating all we have accomplished since our opening in 1973.
"You, our families, and our children are also what makes us unique. Each child is like a beautiful panel in our patchwork quilt," said Melinda Rushing, our school's owner and executive director. "There's no school like ours anywhere, and we love who we are and what we accomplish together."
While Governor Phil Murphy could not attend, he did send remarks congratulating our school community on this milestone.
"All Day Learning Centers has served as a support system for parents by providing a safe and nurturing place for their children to stay during the day. As Governor, I commend All Day Learning Centers for carrying out their important mission of fostering the development of youth across the Garden State."
Thank you to our staff, students, families, and community members for celebrating alongside our school. The relationships we have formed with you through the school are the true reason for our celebration.
